I don't know why but in my mind he is obviously guilty - same for that mom who killed her daughter in portugal.

It's weird - I am/always have been anti establishment yet always think an accused person is guilty as charged.

"I . . . always think an accused person is guilty as charged."

Think again.

I used that attitude to avoid a jury selection once. Got me excused from duty. Only the guilty were the local police dept. Nothing wrong with keeping a gaurd up.

Compassion and objectivity are two human qualities that it really is worthwhile to aspire to. I presume you like the Grateful Dead so I humbly implore you to listen to the words of the songs. I know what its like to live in the dark and I can definitely recommend the light. I also know this is a bit 'ned flanders' but I hope you take this as just a friendly word from one fan to another.

compassion (will even feel for him in jail) I have - it's the objectivity I lose when I hear what I quickly conclude to be enough details to render judgement

well when you're a freak and you're the only one at the scene of the crime.....

of course I do NOT know all the evidence but I believe that much is correct.

Do you realize how long I went thinking that was Michael Nesmith of the Monkees before I learned it was Phil Spector?

Nesmith is an interesting guy - I believe it was his mother, but definitely someone in family, who invented "white out" - got lots of cash from same (untold millions). Then he was one of the pioneers in music video stuff and it was a lot of stuff from him that MTV used when started out, not to mention the movie with frank zappa (trip?head?-can't recall) but this is a good one:

Cool! I never saw that one. Yeah, Nesbith was probably the only one of them ( Monlees ) that had anything. Incidently, here's a peice of obscure trivia that never seems to impress or wow anybody. Did you know he wrote " Beat of a different drum" that Linda Rondstadt had a hit with?

of course the follow up to that is who was her backing band? The Stone Pony's who later became?

the eagles. Incidently, I didn't realize that one of the Flying Burrito guys ended up being in the early incarnation of the Eagles. It's obvious that Gram was THE primary influence of when Rock went Country but that made it even more obvious to me.
